Western Excavations and Groundworks Ltd supply from our two sandstone quarries in Liscannor and Kilmihil, We supply all types of stone to the construction and agri sectors. The stone is regulated and certified by the NSAI for civil engineering and road construction, and is pyrite and mica-free (this has been an issue in the Clare area). Both quarries contain High PSV (Polished Stone Value) stone which has a high skid resistance and is therefore in great demand for surfacing roads with heavy traffic flows. We can also supply everything from 804 stone and decorative chipping for landscaping and driveways to screened topsoil.
